Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has revealed the Season 2 roadmap for TEKKEN 8, announcing that Anna Williams is coming to the game as the first of four new planned DLC characters, including an all-new original character. Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe revealed today Clive Rosfield from FINAL FANTASY XVI as the first guest character coming to TEKKEN™ 8. The main protagonist from the epic entry in the FINAL FANTASY series will join the roster as the next DLC playable character with a 72-hour early access for Playable Character Year 1 Pass holder beginning 16th December, 2024, and officially releasing on 19th December. This marks the fourth DLC playable character since the game’s launch in January of this year, rounding out the thrilling lineup for its debut season. Heihachi Mishima makes his return to TEKKEN 8 pushing the game’s roster to 35 characters. He is the third DLC of the Season Pass 1, joining Eddy and Lidia. The King of Iron Fist, seemingly dead at the end of TEKKEN 7 has managed to cheat death and is back with an evolved style, learned thanks to his time with the Tekken monks. In addition to Heihachi, a new stage, the Genmaji temple is also available for individual purchase. But that’s not all, as the 1.08 version of the game comes with new free content. TEKKEN 8 revealed its roadmap for the months to come, which includes battle adjustments, free additions and second DLC character, Lidia Sobieski. Starting this spring, battle adjustments will be made as the development team continues to work on improving the balance of the game as well as the player experience. This summer, the first free updates will be out, including the release of a new stage, the Seaside Resort, and introducing the Photo Mode.
